This is really is it! |
Here are some tips when going to Disneyland:
Don't go on a weekend. Yes, we went on a weekend and the lines for the rides were long that we had to be selective on what rides we really wanted to wait in line for.
If you do go on a weekend, be fast after the parades. Usually alot of people watch the parades. So when it finishes, dash off to the ride you would think would have the longest line so hopefully after a show, the line will be shorter.
No regrets on going November-December. The weather is cool and the theme is Christmas! They even had fake snow. Mia loved the snow after every show.
If you're a rebel, fight the mainlanders. Sorry, some of them try to outsmart you in the lines. Mia and I held hands and we made sure that noone overtook us. Unfortunately there were some lines that they were very persistent... Arjneiaurncq3nj!!!
Bring your own water. Everything there is jacked up.
If you have a daughter, better bring your own Disney princess costume. The characters will take notice of your daughter more and she will LOVE it. Refer to no. 5, everything is jacked up.
Try to take advantage of the new themes they have. Toy Story Land recently opened. It's the first in Asia (Well, there are only 2 Disneylands in Asia: Hong Kong and Japan)!
Try to maximize the bathroom in the morning. It kinda gets gross (Abroad standards not Manila standards) in the afternoon/ night.
Buy your ticket for the MTR early. Don't cram and buy at night. We learned this the hard way.
If you can afford it, spend a night in Disneyland Hotel so your child can have breakfast with the characters. Since the park was packed, Mia wasn't able to go take a picture with a character. She wanted to, unfortunately all the lines were long and I would rather we lined up for a show. She did get to high 5 Woody and Princess Aurora blew her a flying kiss from the parade. Yes, refer to no. 6, bring your Disney princess costume.
