Core Kinesis

I'm alive!

Hehehe... I tried Core Kinesis a couple of weeks ago.  It looked really fancy in pictures so I was excited to try it.  It's practically a one on one session with different kinds of gadgets.  The trainer said the difference with Core Kinesis with other exercises is that scientists actually created this exercise based on what the body can do- like how blue collared people have washboard abs (I'm exaggerating but you understand what I mean?), those are the kinds of movements you mimic here.

Core Kinesis

Another exercise will be on the chopping block.  I am trying Core Kinesis out this weekend.  Best part is that it's free!  What's new with me?  Will keep you posted on how it goes.

Happy Yoga Birthday to Me!

It's been two years since I first started.  In between, I got dengue, a "real" job, and a few trips here and there.  I tried other exercises but I still go back to Bikram.

Standing head to knee
Just like any birthday, I celebrated it... With yoga practice.  I even had a guest.  Haha.  Thanks Em for practicing with me.

Here's to two years and counting!

*Thanks Dana for the picture.

Urban Ashram Manila

Finally!  Another fitness post!

It took me awhile to blog about this because my camera makes a sound while taking pictures and I was scared they would tell me taking pictures is not allowed.  Dork!

Yumyum Abs

I have a gut.

It’s not funny and probably next to my hair, is the most annoying part of my body.

Yoga date night is back!

I tricked someone in agreeing to buy this Deal Dozen coupon.

Keep you posted on how it goes!  I've done Bikram with him before.  Since he is innately competitive and barat, I am guaranteed to have fun yoga classes with him.

Jujucleanse: Juju-me, Juju-fail, Juju-good!

I discovered Jujucleanse from reading several blogs.  I found out one of my friends have done it and I was quite curious what it could do to my body.  I have not been fat for awhile (Feeling! Me already!) but I have been always conscious about my body.  Sometimes it can swing up and down a couple of pounds but best effort it swings down more than up.  Hehehe....

Jujucleanse is a no fuss, all benefits approach to juice fasting.  You can choose from an introductory 1 day cleanse or the hard core 3 day cleanse.  Me being me, I chose hard core.  I honestly don't know when I will learn that I.AM.NOT.HARD.CORE in anything.

Sexy Saturdays: Pole Dancing and Zumba

I have always wanted to try pole dancing.  I have seen advertisements about Polecats Manila.  I ended up trying Movement Dance Studio.  Why?  Because I'm jologs and Ciara Sotto is the teacher in Movement Because the trial for pole is P400 and if you do other classes for trial, they're for free.  Ding ding ding!  We've got a winner right there.  Free trial again! I know, I know, someday soon, these freebies will bite my behind.

I am trying to look as undistorted as possible

After the Crossfit experience, I realized a. I shouldn't do things on a full stomach b. I should be more open-minded that I will probably suck doing something for the first time.  So I was right on both things.  Good thing I did not overeat my eat-all-you-can Mongolian.  Meme and I looked like monkeys in a tree in our attempt to do pole.

Guess what I'm doing this Saturday?

A little bit of this...

Maybe not upside down...
And a little bit of that...

Maybe not with Blondies...
I can't wait to tell you guys about it.

Wellness Wednesdays: Crossfit Manila

The exercise that almost killed me.

I pride myself in being physically fit. I can’t run for the life of me (I get BORED) but I believe I have endurance to do sports and all that jazz. Since I’ve been doing Bikram yoga, I have always thought I was kinda invincible.
