Early this month, Mia had homework for school.  Unfortunately, I am one of those anal homework mothers- good for my daughter, bad for me.  The exercise was that she took home a "mascot" or class "pet" and basically she just had to take pictures of the activities that she did that weekend and compile it in the scrapbook where the rest of her classmates posted their own pictures with Lily.

UCC Park Cafe Express

Remember my craving for ramen that was an epic fail because it was never satisfied?

Last Saturday, Mia and I had a lunch date in UCC Park Cafe Express to check out their ramen.  This branch is supposedly the only UCC branch that had ramen.  For the first time I was happy that the weather was gloomy.  Nothing beats yummy soup on a rainy day!  I was excited.  Haha, ramen dork!

After our massage, Karl and I decided to take my parents to Chateau Hestia.  We stumbled on this restaurant when we ate in Bawai’s with Karl’s cousins and decided to walk around the area when we got too full.

Craft Pub and Grill



What happened that night- in a nutshell

One of my good friends from college visited Manila for a 2 week vacation.  We decided to party hard whatever that means.  We decided to have dinner in Craft Pub and Grill and proceed to Amber afterwards.

Craft Pub and Grill is located in Unit E- The Fort Strip.  It’s the same place where Prince of Jaipur, Embassy and Cuisine were located before (Uy! Signs of aging, wala na sila).  I got there an hour early so I had time to pretend I was not a loser.  Good thing Craft had free wifi BUT I didn’t understand why the waitress had to type the password.  Do they really not share their password or was the password so complicated she had to type it herself?

Yoga date night is back!

Keep you posted on how it goes!  I've done Bikram with him before.  Since he is innately competitive and barat, I am guaranteed to have fun yoga classes with him.

When you spend for gas and toll to get to Bataan, you try to maximize and do whatever you can there. When Karl and I were still dating, I bought him the Lonely Planet Philippines version book.  I figured, since we would travel alot together, might as well get that book as a handy resource- good investment for people like us.

I just remembered this billboard and I was wondering if I could do it.  I figured I did yoga, I should be able to do this.  Yes, this is one of those moments that just because I do Bikram, I feel like I'm all powerful.

I can do it, maybe with a little less grace and with a painful look on my face.

Come on! Try it at home, better done alone so noone has to laugh at you.
